Shannon Debona
Shannon DeBona is a Christian author, speaker, and educator who writes with heart, healing, and hope. After the sudden loss of her husband, she wrote her debut book Love in Every Stripe, a powerful reflection on how Jesus’s journey to the cross speaks to the wounds we carry such as grief, anxiety, rejection, and more to explain how His sacrifice offers restoration for everyone. We are going through trials and obstacles from a place of victory since the battle over son, death, and human suffering has already been won!
With degrees in Christian Studies and Curriculum Instruction, Shannon has taught in both classrooms and church settings, leading Bible studies and children’s discipleship programs.
Shannon was born and raised on the Gulf Coast and currently lives in North Carolina, where she continues to write, teach, and speak to passionately point others toward healing, purpose, and the unshakable love of God.
