I’m a Michigan girl, born and raised, though I’ve lived all over. After earning a journalism/PR degree from Madonna University, I realized I loved writing—not reporting. So, at 24, I packed up and moved to Key West, then later to Savannah and St. Augustine. Life eventually brought me back to Michigan, where I reconnected with a childhood crush—now my husband.
Career moves took us to California and Ohio, and along the way, I earned a master’s in business from MSU. In 2018, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and I dove deeper into my faith. Losing her in 2020, and then my dad 17 months later, shattered me. But through grief, God and writing helped me heal. Now back in Michigan, I want to use my words to help others through loss. Let’s talk about life, death, and everything in between.
